Protect us Lord while we stay awake
Watch over us as we sleep
That awake we may keep watch with Christ

You devote so much energy to the spiritual development of college students. How challenging can that be?! You used to say 110% is what you want to give; but, we can only work within the confines of human capacity. At the end of a “long day”, sometimes we continue to dwell with worries and anxiety. Our bodies say rest, but our minds can’t do it. God asks that we hand over our troubles to him. I thank you for your eloquent and introspective prayer; I’ll remember it at the end of my next “long day”. I hope God grants you peace.
